About Me
What is it that fuels you? For me, it’s Living well. I love writing about my passions, what interest me, what interests others, and sharing all of my thoughts with my readers.
Looking over my life, I have lived well. I want to pass on my experience to others, so that you too can live well.
What are the ingredients to living well?
-
Feeling and being in control of your life
-
Be involved
-
A balance of work and healthy activity
-
Having a good home with enough resources to be comfortable
-
A healthy environment, both inside and outside the home
-
Time out when you need it
-
Contribute to society and others less fortunate
You don’t have to be happy all the time, but it is good to be satisfied with your life. I am satisfied with my life.
I recall at age 4, holding my mother’s ball gown as we watched our farm and livelihood burn down. But I have never felt deprived. I had a loving family and we enjoyed life with the few comforts we were able to afford.
I married my husband at 20 years of age. We have three children and eight grandchildren. Their young lives are a delight to me.
I managed our family business for 40 years. We still work together in a number of home-based businesses, including our original business, dance teaching and wellness.
We travelled the world and discovered a new passion, dancing (and teaching) Argentine Tango.
In 2001 I was part of the founding group for a charitable organisation, Milonga Para Los Niños, helping disadvantaged children in Argentina and Latin America to a better life by organising and coordinating Tango festivals and events around the world. We continue to run and manage this organisation because we have a strong belief that it is important to “give back” to the universe for the joy and benefits we have derived. In this case we give back for the joy we have received from the warm, sophisticated culture and music of Argentina. We have participated in the construction and operation of foster homes, schools and education facilities in underprivileged regions of Latin America and Asia.
E-wellness is truly my own little passion project, gaining more and more traction each day. I hope you enjoy browsing my site and all of the unique content I have to offer. Take a look around; perhaps you’ll discover what fuels you as well. Read on and enjoy!
