Spring has Sprung - Melaleuca Spring Cleaning Tips

Melaleuca's cleaning product range is exceptional value for money, non-toxic, and environmentally very friendly.

Here are some excellent cleaning tips and tricks as we get ready for a summer of freedom:

Outdoor furniture can easily be cleaned by spraying with 1 tsp. of Tough & Tender and 1 capful of Sol‑U‑Mel combined in a 16 oz. bottle of water. This will loosen the dirt so that the furniture can easily be wiped with a sponge or rag and rinsed with the garden hose.

On a sealed garage floor, combine 1/2 tsp. of MelaMagic with water and 1 to 2 capfuls of Sol‑U‑Mel in a 16 oz. bottle. Spray on any fresh grease stains. Scrub with a brush and hose the floor with water.

Wash your car with 1 capful (10 drops) of Tough & Tender for a sparkling, no-streak finish. Use Tub & Tile to clean your alloy wheels.

Soak your barbecue grill in a solution of 30 ml of MelaMagic in 4 litres of water. Clean it with a brush. For the outside of the grill, use 1/3 cup of Tough & Tender in a 480 ml. spray bottle of water and scrub with a soft brush. For baked-on areas, use the Tough & Tender solution and let soak for a few minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.

For general cleaning of a concrete patio, mix 15 ml. of MelaMagic in 4 litres of warm water. Dump a small puddle of this solution on the floor and scrub with a brush. Spray the floor with water to rinse.

The bottom of your aluminum fishing boat can be readied for a new season with a mixture of 15ml. of MelaMagic with 4 litres of water and 4 capfuls of Sol‑U‑Mel. Restore the interior with diluted MelaMagic or Tough & Tender. Try cleaning your fiberglass boat with diluted Sol‑U‑Mel. It will even work on the seats.

To clean ceiling fans, mix 5 drops of Tough & Tender in a 480ml spray bottle of water. Spray on your fan and wipe with a soft cloth. If the fan is wood, you may use the same technique followed by Rustic Touch, or simply use the Rustic Touch for the complete cleaning job.

To clean glass, use Clear Power as directed on the label. Terry towels, old cloths or very cheap paper towels are excellent for wiping windows after spraying. (Try using the Clear Power diluted to 1/2 of the strength suggested on the bottle.) For best results use distilled water with the Clear Power. We love the new Clear Power Wipes for smaller jobs, too.

To remove dirt and grease marks from your lawnmower, mix a solution of 15ml. of MelaMagic with 4 litres of water. Spray or wipe the solution on your mower and allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Repeat if necessary.
